REMOVAL OF CUTANEOUS LESIONs
(i.e. nevi, cysts, lipomas)
We perform precise surgical excisions of cutaneous or shallow skin lesions, which include nevi, cysts, and lipomas in their benign or malignant forms.
Nevi is the medical term for moles, which are very common in the general population and are usually harmless. However, some patients may opt for mole removal if its presence negatively affects the physical appearance.
Cysts are sac-like formations in the skin that may contain fluid or other kinds of material. They occur under the skin, and are generally benign and easy to treat.
Lipoma is the medical term for fatty tumors or skin lumps, which are characterized by painless lumps of fat growing between the skin and underlying muscle. While the condition is not life-threatening, the appearance of prominent fat lumps may cause severe anxiety and distress for the patient.
